Uniting Our Premium New Zealand Fruit Brands
We’re proud to announce the launch of Consolidated Fruits Ltd, a newly established parent company designed to bring together our group of premium New Zealand fruit businesses under one strong, unified brand.
Consolidated Fruits Ltd will serve as the umbrella organisation for our three established New Zealand fruit brands: Kiwi Crunch, CAJ, and Prunus Orchards. Together, the group oversees more than 880 hectares of orchards, producing over 35,000 tons of apples, 180 tons of pears, and 750 tons of cherries each year. The formation of the new entity aims to streamline operations and improve coordination across the group's activities. Allowing us to better coordinate our operations and support our supply chain.
About Our Fruit Brands
Kiwi Crunch – Based in Hawke’s Bay, Kiwi Crunch is a vertically integrated grower, packer, and exporter of apples and pears, sending over 1.2 million cartons of fruit annually to more than 30 countries.
CAJ – Located in Central Otago, CAJ produces approximately 800,000 cartons of premium apples and pears. Exports are managed through Kiwi Crunch’s dedicated marketing and export team.
Prunus Orchards – Also in Central Otago, Prunus manages 132 hectares of cherry orchards, most using the planar cordon system, renowned for growing large, high-colour fruit perfect for export markets.
What This Means for Our Customers and Growers
Operations at Kiwi Crunch, CAJ, and Prunus Orchards will continue unchanged, with the new structure primarily affecting internal administrative functions and group identity. As part of the reorganisation, the company's head office has relocated to Level 1, 17 Falcon Street, Parnell, Auckland. A new company website has also been launched.
